This weekend has been a bumper weekend for my with inter 'G' contacts. I say bumper, not in terms of number but in terms of quality. I've had a really enjoyable rag chew with G4VSJ and G1SPC in particular. I've rarely had such nice relaxed QSO's where it isn't a 59 exchange and that's your lot ( I also don't buy that I'm 59 in some QSO's when I have to repeat my call sign because there is too much QSB / QRM etc but that's another post). The conditions were perfect for solid genuine 59 and 59+10dB conversations and its been excellent.
I don't think I was alone in making use of the rag chew conditions as I've also been earwigging in on others as well. perhaps this goes on all the time in some parts but I rarely hear it in Cumbria, perhaps I'm not in the right place at the right time or more likely it rarely happens. Even so here's hoping for an extension of this level of propagation and 3 cheers for the rag chew.
