WOTA Weekend

Looking out of the window today makes me glad to be inside. the rain is doing a good job of filling in the Lakes that are getting lower and lower as a consequence of our current un-Cumbrian weather. Now the balance has been redressed and its getting closer to the WOTA weekend (August bank holiday) the idea of wandering around the tops of Ennerdale horseshoe is not too appealing. I'm planning on being out on Saturday 27th August and QRV from Great Borne (Herdus) from about 8am and then working along the tops until I'm either tired out, out of battery juice or the weather makes me run for the shelter of St Bees. Hopefully there'll be a few others out that weekend and the sun has got his hat on!
