I may be getting closer to the magical new rig. Trouble is that now that I almost have the go ahead from our in house accountant / finance director aka the XYL. I am not sure what to buy. Magically the total budget could be up to £2000 but its by no means a done deal. I'm thinking of the new kenwood TS590 I think it is plus a kenwood HF aprs base / mobile rig that I can take into the car whilst still keeping the IC7000 which I am still a big fan of for more portable work. Decisions decisions decisions.
I can see he rug being pulled as I type! Trying not to get excited as well.
